I saw that about your dissertation. I am just doing personal research because I have been following some discussions on various gender blogs about gender issues. I will be interested to see future post that you do on the subject.

Thanks, Leigh Ann. Yes. I'm aware of RTS on iTunesU—some great stuff there!

Nice to hear from you. I wish you well in your research. I have plenty of sources to recommend if you're looking to dig deeper. I'm working on my dissertation on the subject of eternal subordination.

You probably already know this, but you can download his RTS lectures at itunesu.

I just found your blog doing a little research on this eternal subordination thing. My husband Markus (Bockle) and I went to Bob Jones as well.

Thanks for sharing, AJ. I've read and really enjoyed the Doctrine of the Knowledge of God. I've read portions of the Doctrine of God as well and hope to finish it sometime. I'm eagerly anticipating the next two volumes.

I have to add a big ditto on John Frame. He's certainly one of my two or three favorite (living) theologians. Every two years I return to Frame's "The Doctrine of God" when I teach Systematic Theology 2 (the doctrines of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit). It's the most clear, insightful, edifying, exhilarating, and helpful treatment of the person and work of God the Father that I've ever read. God-saturated. I find Frame's rubric of Covenant Lordship convincing and his commitment to sola scriptura in his theological method refreshing.
