Nearly all of this comes from two runs at the doctrine of man with the same congregation—a nine-part course in 2015 and a shorter pass in the Essentials class in 2017. The two sessions on the image itself are the center; the rest set it up: where we came from, what we are, and what the doctrine costs when it reaches the arguments of the moment.
